OK, I finally got off my backside and called The OOoForum owner.
Seems that he is alive, well, and very busy and was not even aware that the site was down.
He said that he obviously has not been doing a good job and is willing to discuss with the AOO team moving content and/or site. Let me know who should have his contact information and I will send it on. Obviously I don't want to post his phone number to this list.
