Ahh, on one hand there should be no fork . . . on the other, Mitel is 
interested in seeing these items accomplished
and on the foot, they are saying "Yes, go ahead, we think that would be 
real nice, keen thing that, it's just that we don't really want to 
contribute at this point, but we would really rather that you not take 
this anywhere else.

This is the easy one, he has the knowledge for this, I do not. Although 
I am familiar with much of it, it takes a whole lot more than being 
familiar. My talents lay somewhere else, and they are ALWAYS open to the 
full Open Source Community. And before you start asking about my 
contributions to the community, remember the "community" is much deeper 
than Mitel/E-smith.

Charlie. I respect you very much and the work you have accomplished. I 
do not envy the position you must take in this matter.
