Hello to all, Contestia is a very good compromise. Twice faster than Olivia and almost as sensitive as Olivia (only a loss of 1.5 dB in the S/N). However there are only capital letters, which is not a big problem.
RTTYM has the same problem that RTTY. On an error, you can switch to figures whereas you might be in letters, or reversely. Not a very good mode for this reason. However, it is almost 4 times quicker than Olivia. 73 Patrick ----- Original Message ----- From: Rick Westerfield To: digitalradio@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, May 20, 2009 7:10 PM Subject: Re: [digitalradio] Contestia / RTTYM I like the faster print rate of Contestia but there are few users out there.
