某所で "AutoText"
の訳語（の揺れ）について言及があり、私もこの件に興味を持ちましたの調べてみました。それを踏まえ問題提起したいと思います。少々長くなりますがお許しください。
まず、現状は次のようになっています。Pootle-master-UI
にて 'AutoText'
で検索した結果です。なお出現場所・方法が特定できた箇所は、それを
msgstr
のあとに書き添えました。出現場所確認に使用した
LibreOfficeDev は、Version: 5.4.1.0.0+; Build ID:

以上から、私は次のように感じております。
- AutoText
は、字句等を挿入するアクションと、そのアクションによって挿入される字句等（以下、挿入字句と仮称）の、2つの意味で用いられている。

なので、挿入字句に対して「テキストブロック」と訳出した例があった。
-
挿入字句に「テキストブロック」は、あまり直感的とは言えない
-
かといって、アクションはともかく挿入字句の呼び名が「入力支援」となることにも違和感がある
ということで、
1. "AutoText"
をアクションと挿入字句で訳し分けるべきが否か
2. 1
で訳語を統一するとした場合、どのような訳語が適切か
3. 1
で訳し分けるとした場合、それぞれ、どのような訳語が適切か
の3点を提起したいと思います。
# 5.4.0 には間に合わないかもしれませね…
