Assunto: Re: [displaytag-user] Order of the export types

Hello Elvis,

I've took a look at the source and it seems like the CSV, XLS and XML are
"hardcoded" somehow to be the first 3 exports, the others will be added after
these 3. As PDF is not a standard export type for displaytag, even if it is
very easy to configure, it will be display last.
As an alternative you could try defining a new export type : myexcel, and
configure it identically with the default excel export option.
Then you will have to declare

export.types=pdf myexcel

This way these export options will be ordered as you need.

Hope this helps !

Cheers,
Narcis Paslaru

Hello, everyone.

I'm new at this list, and i'm here because i have a problem hard to solve, and
i thought that maybe someone at this big community might has solved it.
Sorry my bad english.

My application has some tables generated using Display Tag, and all of them
export to Excel and PDF. My displaytag.properties has export.types=excel pdf. A
use an image at each label, and everything goes on perfectly. However, the
Excel export type appears first and PDF next, and i need PDF to be the first
one. So, i've changes the export.types to pdf excel, thinking that this was the
problem. But... nothing. And i've made a lot of different tests, and nothing
seems to take PDF from the last type. Adding CSV and XML, the two and Excel
respect some ordering, but PDF is always the last one.

So, i ask if someone has already faced this problem, and what can i do to fix
it!

Thanks in advance,
