Hello, I'm also using Struts. The "requestUri" is used so that displaytag will generate the links for sorting and export - namely your Action. You could leave it blank - and it will take the value of the last called action that took you to that page (jsp) or you culd give it a specified value requestUri="/myAction.do" so that it will always execute your action before sorting. This will also refetch your data for the table.
