I have been running this "patch" on a CentOS 4 box running Djabberd
since then with out issues.

Can you provide more information about this? I've not tried mu-
conference, but when I was running PyMSNt against DJabberd I didn't
have issues with restarting it. I'm curious as to what's going on
with Danga::Socket to cause this problem.
