Sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and chaired by C.D. Mote, Jr., president of the University of Maryland, this workshop is part of a request by the White House to study the feasibility of Internet voting. This event will bring together some of the nation's preeminent computer and social scientists to discuss the technical and social issues that relate to the subject, and to craft a research agenda for further study. Representatives from the states and others in the online voting industry will also be in attendance to provide their perspective on these matters. For more information, please see our Web site at http://www.netvoting.org. Attendance is free and open to public. However, seating is extremely limited so advance registration is required.
