Tim Donohue closed New Feature DS-921 as Won't Fix
A few committers re-reviewed this JIRA ticket today...

While we like ideas of this build environment (especially integrating Jetty or similar), the build environment proposed seems way too specific to how JORUM does their development. Most of the other DSpace Developers are now using things like the new "build.properties" feature for multi-developer configs, use Maven for building/compiling, and most use GitHub for code management.

So, while we are closing this as "won't fix", we'd love it if you worked to submit pieces of this build environment that could improve our current build.properties + GitHub recommended development environment. We'd love to see if we could especially make improvements like adding Jetty as an embedded container.
