This ticket is outdated, as it refers to the "experimental" REST-API created by Bojan Suzic as part of a Google Summer of Code project.

We're marking it "needs volunteer" for now, as I believe this issue still occurs in that old "experimental" REST-API. Once we adopt a new REST-API however, this ticket should likely be closed and marked "obsolete".
