The SRU server knows nothing about the source of the query, so I don't see how any authorization based logic could work. Internally, I create a DSpace Context object and I assume that I get whatever default authorization comes with that. If this seems to be a glaring hole and someone has ideas on how to patch it, I'd be glad to work on it.
