Just wanted to add a +1 to the idea below (from Andrea & helix84) to do an "XSLT Snippets" / XMLUI Cookbook somewhere.
I honestly think this would be an *excellent* addition to the DSpace Knowledge Base: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSpaceKB/DSpace+KnowledgeBase The whole idea behind that Knowledgebase is to provide a place that we can better organize & share useful tips as well as tutorials / webcasts / presentations on how to do things. I think this example of starting up a section on how to make specific small XSLT tweaks to your theme would be a great resource. For those who are still a bit hazy about the "Knowledgebase" idea. It is different than our "System Documentation" (https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC18/). The System Documentation describes configurations / settings & basic instructions for changing DSpace (basically it's more of a "reference" for System Admins). But, the Knowledgebase is meant to provide actual step-by-step tutorials on how to do very specific things in DSpace (and link back to parts of the System Docs where necessary). - Tim On 5/31/2012 7:04 PM, helix84 wrote: > On Thu, May 31, 2012 at 11:18 PM, Andrea Schweer<schw...@waikato.ac.nz> > wrote: >> That is so cool -- thanks heaps for finding this out and documenting it, >> I had no idea this is possible! > > Thanks for the positive feedback.
