The CAT port on the Yaesu does not interface with CW at all (see page 32 of manual). You need to use another port that can key the CW jack which will probably not work directly (since USB to COM, WIN 11 timing, etc., will mess up the CW). You need a WinKeyer, or similar, and then it becomes another COM port (connected to your USB) and sends the CW itself internally so Windows is not involved and keys the CW port of the radio fine.

If I key the radio with a straight key it works fine, but the computer does nothing. I also have the same situation with N1MM Logger+. I can get the frequency data to work, but can't key the radio with the computer. Any suggestions would be welcome.
