Hello Rick, Do not try to copy the files over. Download and install v9 from the website. Version 9 no longer uses Jim's Data Updater; the update process is built in to the program. From the menu bar at the top: Help > Check for Updates You should do this as soon as the program finishes installing to get the latest program version and associated files.
