Hi group !

I was a big fan of DX4WIN for many, many years until I tried using it to
prepare a custom award submission.
Unfortunately, I found so many problems there that it would take several pages
to describe them. Unfortunately, none of my questions to the support desk or to
the group were answered, with the exception of Jim, AD1C, but we have not
completed solving only one of these issues
. The absence of a continent in the main menu is very inconvenient for
calculating statistics.
Among other problems, it is very annoying not to be able to count the number of
unique call signs, both in general and by using a sorting criteria
. It is also impossible to get an ADIF export from an alphabetically sorted log
in the same sequence - this only works for CSV. To implement the above
functions, I have to import the ADIF log into other programs, even a freeware
ones, but which successfully cope with the tasks set. I’ll be ready to continue
using this nice product and pay for upgrades if I see a real support instead of
just adding of FT8 etc QSO modes and some minor changes in V.10 for $30 !

Best 73's!
