Adding e1000-devel (the forum for all technical discussions of Intel wired
ethernet Linux drivers).

The spec I have mentions nothing about supporting 1000baseT/half. Could you
point me to the place in the spec you have that mentions this, and tell me from
where you got it?

Thanks,
Bruce.

Subject: linux e1000e & 82574L Gigabit Controller & 1000baseT/Half

Bruce,

Sorry for emailing you directly, but I wasn't sure where to ask. Should I open
a bug?

I've looked at the spec for the 82574L, and it says that the hardware supports
1000baseT Half Duplex.
When I run ethtool (2.6.33) while running a 2.6.32 debian kernel, it is not
advertised.

Is there a reason for not advertising 1000baseT/Half?
