John, If you are happy with the mouse on the screen image, I suggest you try DXLab suite, or Ham Radio Deluxe, or TRX-Manager, or N4PY software. Each has their own pros and cons, so try them all and pick the one that suits you best.
There is also the possibility of doing your functions through macros in a logger such as N1MM - use the K3 Programmer's Reference for a comprehensive guide to what can be done.
