Good Evening,
Sorry this report is so late but my life has been all shook up this
week. Two day long interviews at the large company in Hillsboro.
Behavioral questions for four hours interspersed with four hours of
technical ones. Circuits, software, parsing, lexing, languages,
mathematics, networks, problem solving, psychometric yada yada, and so
forth. Whew, today I slept! However it may lead to a good 70 to 80 hour
a week job. Typical high tech but it may even be fun ;)
Enough already! My thanks go out to Tom, Gary, and Ric for calling a
few CQ ECNs and taking over for me. This may happen again if the above
unmentioned company sends me around the country or world. I'll take a rig
with me but hotels do not get out as well as my mountain home. Thank you
all for your support by having fun last Sunday. Nova Scotia to New
Zealand is quite a spread! Ontario to Texas is not too bad either.
I will be on hand this Sunday to perform my small task toward getting
you all together.

Thanks to each and every one of you for gathering together to meet on the
air. Hope you all had fun and will join us again in just a few days. My
life may or may not settle down but it sure will be different if they hire
me. Building and using radios kept me sane (?) through grad school so I
will keep up the therapy sessions. Lisa had better be ready since I may
just have to build another Elecraft rig. Let's see ... K1 ??? KX1 ??? or
another K2 ??? a transverter ??? the tuner ??? So many options -- but I
have time; soon I'll have money too ;)
