Hi Bob, Peter already has the rig to Y-Box cable. He just needs to replace the Y-Box to amp cable with longer one.
Peter, replacing the amp to Y-Box cable with longer one is the best method for remoting your amp. The Ethernet cable from amp to switch in basement will allow you to use the KPA1500 remote utility. If memory serves, it shows recommended power on bottom when tuner is engaged.
