Everybody has "sidetone". When you record your voice and play it back you'll notice it doesn't sound the same as you hear yourself because you hear your speech returning through your skull bones. While wearing headphones you're hearing the "murmur" or "sidetone" if you will returning through your skull bones I've heard this "murmur" with every transceiver I've ever owned
