Hi Victor,

This is a problem with encodings.  Check if your terminal encoding
matches elinks configuration about encoding.

To change default enconding in Elinks configuration:

    Menu "Setup" -> "Terminal options"

    Set on/off "UTF-8 I/O".

Also, there might be a good idea to turn out frame handling, although it
should not be necessary.

For more advanced configuration, go at the "Options manager" (under the
"Setup" menu too) and tweek options under the "Terminal" subtree.
