I must have sent only 1. clearing some space for calibers I no longer
own, I came across that box a couple months back in the basement.
Untouched for about 25 years now. I'd have to go check how many are
left in the box. I will if I remember, next time I do laundry. The
basement steps are beginning to be a problem so I negotiate them
carefully. With my Dee gone on, I'm alone so there's nobody but me to
call for help. Was it Jeff I sent one to? I don't recall now, and Jon
E. & Peter CW's things work well enough I've not looked at other solutions.
The current driver was written by Jeff Epler, I would have thought it
unlikely that you wouldn't have heard back from him.
But old emails also suggest that Jeff had problems with hard lockups
with the cards (not sure if that was a hardware issue or a driver
issue)
Neither am I but I recall the driver I was writing at the time, didn't
always see the card & took powerdown resets to recover. Different
version of the same basic problem? IDK, and found better solutions. My
poor code long since lost in re-installs.
