Greetings all; I have reconfigured my 6040 mill so the 4th acis is B, inline with the Y axis rotation.
The Axis list in the .ini file is now X Y Z B No mention of axs A remains in any of its startup files. Not even in postgui.hal 1.It will "home all" including B, although neither Z or B is calibrated yet. 2. The DRO does not display B position other than 0.000 It does show whatever the jog vel is set at if the keyboard is moving it. And its moving. 3. a "g1 f1 b15" from the mdi command line once its homed is not done, and non existent A axis errors are reported in the debug panel. They won't copy/paste. Where is it finding a reference to A axis? Secondary Q, how do I recompile unit.halio, halcompile says its an unrecognized file type. There was an A reference in it, that I edited to make it B.
