Hi all. I just searched the archives for xrandr, and up came nothing. Which is very unfortunate, because nothing beats using my two monitors with enlightenment, but whenever I want to stop using the second monitor, I have to log out and use a different WM, so I don't screw up my nicely arranged Iconboxes and desktop pagers.
Is anybody working on support for xrandr in enlightenment? e.g. remebering window-placements per desktop resolution and maybe writing an epplet to switch between them? my own programming skills are somewhat limited, I think I could manage the epplet with a bit of copy&paste from the corresponding GNOME applet, but I'm afraid the window placement stuff is beyond my abilities. So is anybody willing to do it for the old release? Or could someone give me some pointers into the right direction in case I try it on my own? Functions I need to look at, variables to be duplicated for each resolution, etc. regards Felix ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
