OK, I've spoken to Josette at o'Reilly. The bad news is that because
we're clashing with GUADEC, she can't come to EuroPython.

The good news is that we've talked out a solution, and if we can give
o'Reilly publicity and help them sell books, then we get their
sponsorship:

* badge holders and lanyards
* discount to EP delegates on o'Reilly books
* link to europython.org from o'Reilly gmt

Normally Josette would have a stand to sell books, but as she can't
make it we have two options:

1. We find someone to man an o'Reilly stand and sell books, in return
for a percentage. That someone would have a very boring time.

2. We provide a stand with a sample of books for people to see. They
can then order books with an EP promotional code and get their
discount. EP gets a percentage and the sample books for draw prizes or
auction.

Option 2 sounds good to me.

Josette is replying to an email from Laura to this effect.

I am seeing Josette next week if anythings needs discussing: let me
know if you have any queries.

Best wishes,

John
