I don't think you can or should leave out the information about the
country in which the conference takes place. "City Centre" is certainly
less important than that ;-)

It would probably also be wise to add information regarding the
link between PyCon UK and EuroPython (ie. a note about the
organizers). The reference to PyCon UK in that blog entry
doesn't make any sense if you don't have that piece of
information.
