Obviously I defer to John's experience in this, but for the 
record, as a delegate I greatly prefer that the materials are 
online in one central place (which feels like a gift), rather than 
on a CD (which feels like a burden).

A CD requires me to carry it and not lose it and take it home and 
file it somewhere and find it again and put it in the drive to 
access. It's hard to search or index and does not receive any 
updates.

Online is the opposite - all those problems just magically 
vanish.
