Dear Chris, So far I have not participated in this time-consuming dialogue.
EuroPython is a community conference organised by a small group of volunteers invariably working in their own time in the evening and at weekends for no particular reward. We try and keep things simple. We try and keep costs down so that anyone with an interest in Python can come. You should acknowledge this and temper your opinions accordingly. Maybe you'd like to contribute to next year's conference?
