I read an article recently which claimed that RNA has been produced in a lab, but nothing remotely like a replicating living entity. In response to your other comment, I am just saying that our physical forms and the process of our creations, are virtually identical, so on that basis you can make the inference that our consciousnesses are similarly constructed even though neither of us know what that structure is.
