Head freezing is the best of a bad lot, so to speak. I am that loony, voice in the wilderness, that believes scientists and philosophers should dedicate their time to coming up with proposals for preventing death (medical science), creating an afterlife (uploading?), and the answer to Humpty Dumpty's dilemma, resurrection.
