you might chectk to see what the complete /dev device is for the /sdb? what exactly was the error message? maybe the link format is backwards, or you need to link to something like /dev/video/video0... sorry I cann't check right this second as I am still in the process of tunning and installing 9.1 for myself. on the dual CPU (_my_ main box) and have not yet gotten around to getting the video working. -- Linux counter number 167806
