Rygel is spying on Chiana and Jothee as they are consumating their mutual
attraction to one another in the cold storage chamber where Crichton has
put the last Interferon (the doctor found that the Interferons were a
species who were biologically compatible with Crichton, and used some of
their brain fluid in the previous episode to help restore
Crichton). Crichton hopes to find out who the Interferons are.

So, in the meantime, Moya has put into a space station where they can buy
supplies, maps, etc. Something. I never quite figured out what the
layover was about. Crichton takes the opportunity to get drunk, Aeryn sort
of sulks in the background, and D'Argo buys some bonding tattooes
(basically, a kit to perform a Luxon marriage ritual with
Chiana). Crichton tries to get D'Argo to slow down with his plans but
D'Argo doesn't want to listen. Suddenly a "storm" hits the station. The
station owner tells everyone not to worry, storms happen all the time. His
security chief starts babbling about ancient myths, saying the station is
invading some god's sacred stillness, blah, blah, blah.

As John and Aeryn try to talk, the security chief recognizes him and draws
everyone's attention to Crichton, recounting all his exploits where lots of
people have died. John gets worried and then she says that she hates
Peacekeepers, so she's on his side. Then the storm hits the station and
causes heavy damage. Lots of people are killed, the station owner is
trapped under a collapsed bulkhead.

Pilot contacts Crichton and tells him that Moya was knocked into the
station's bulkhead. The ship is unharmed but entangled in cables. Pilot
also mentions that another storm is coming.

Pilot summons Chiana to go close a hatch which was ruptured. She leaves
Jothee in cold storage to tend to the last Interferon, who is
reviving. Rygel takes some supplies or something over to the station as
Moya's crew starts taking control over the salvage operation. Rygel meets
Chiana in a corridor and tells her he knows what she and Jothee have been
doing. When Chiana threatens Rygel if he tells D'Argo, Rygel points out
that D'Argo's Luxan sense of smell will tell him all he needed to know. He
takes off and Chiana goes to the bulkhead. As Chiana struggles with the
bulkhead Jothee talks to the Interferon, who says he was on some expedition
to a nebula, blah, blah, blah, and then the guy gets sick, throws up on
Jothee, and dies.

Jothee hollars for Chiana, but she's busy. She gets the bulkhead closed
and sees a child on the station, obviously trapped and signalling for
help. Chiana tells pilot and Crichton. Crichton sends D'Argo over to Moya
with some weird ship and he and Aeryn go to look for the children. Zhaan
and Stark stay with the security chief and the trapped station owner.

As Aeryn and Crichton crawl through the station she proposes that they
should start having sex to relieve the tension between them. She calls it
"lowering fluid levels". Crichton is kind of freaked out but Aeryn forces
the issue. She starts to undress and then falls through a hole in the
floor. She's found some access conduit that they were looking for. She
goes on to look for the children and Crichton goes back to the bar.

D'Argo gets back to Moya and smells Jothee (who has bathed) and Chiana and
realizes what they've done. He wigs out and stops trying to get into the
weird ship. He returns to the station to get sloshed.

Aeryn finds the children and starts trying to break into the
nursery. Crichton, in the meantime, learns from Pilot that a special
signal is being transmitted from the station which is drawing the storms
toward it. The security chief and station owner tell him there were once
two more stations. One was destroyed by asteroids, one was destroyed by
fire. The security chief mumbles about ancient gods and anger, blah, blah,
blah, but finally Crichton gets one of them to mention that there is a
super-deadly cult which is determined to run the traders out of the system.
So now everyone agrees that the storms are being used to destroy the
station. Crichton sends Stark to get one of Moya's little robots, and they
reprogram it to track down the signal. It turns out the security chief is
a member of the deadly cult and she has the transmitter in her body. She
floats up and attaches herself magnetically to a bulkhead. Rygel goes nuts
and tries to kill her but Crichton makes him gag her instead.

Now Pilot insists that Moya cannot get free, so Crichton tells him to send
D'Argo out to unclog the cables or whatever. But D'Argo isn't answering
his comm signal. So Crichton goes to look for D'Argo and Rygel takes him
aside to tell Crichton about Chiana and Jothee. Crichton tracks D'Argo
down and convinces him to help the ship. D'Argo already knows the
situation because he's been listening to the comm signals.

So D'Argo goes back to the ship and Crichton gets a freeze chamber. They
use the freeze chamber to draw the security chief away from the bulkhead
(it has more of whatever metal she is attached to than the bulkhead) and
they lock her in it. D'Argo tells Jothee and Chiana to stay away from him
and he goes out to work on the cables.

The storm comes closer and the station owner dies as Aeryn gets to the door
to the nursery. She has to blow it open and she finds the children are
safe. Everyone gets back to Moya with the freeze chamber. D'Argo gets
into trouble outside and John goes out to help him. Chiana and Jothee are
freaking out and Crichton has to fight them off. He goes out to help
D'Argo and gets into trouble himself. But D'Argo comes to his
aid. Crichton persuades D'Argo not to kill himself, which was D'Argo's
plan Finally the ship is free and Pilot starts to initiate starburst but
Crichton tells him not to.

So, Crichton gets back inside Moya and he discovers that the security chief
has escaped the freeze chamber and attached herself to a bulkhead. She
tells Crichton he can't get her off the bulkhead in time, blah, blah,
blah. Crichton says, "Yeah, you win!" He walks off and tells Pilot to
blow the bulkhead into space. Pilot cackles gleefully as he does so. The
storm attacks the bulkhead as Moya leaves the system.

As everyone celebrates their close escape, John and Aeryn talk a little
more about lowering fluid levels. She decides his reluctance might be the
right decision. I'm not sure, but they may have agreed to NOT do anything
(for now).

The episode ends with D'Argo watching Chiana and Jothee through the same
device Rygel had used to spy on them earlier. Jothee is just going to
leave the ship without saying good-bye. Chiana admits she just used him to
compromise her relationship with D'Argo because she didn't want to marry
him and settle down on a farm with him. They say farewell and D'Argo
destroys the console.

Somewhere in there, Stark continues to mumble about finding a planet to
save Zhaan.
