[fibernet] interesting site

I stumbled across this site when doing some 
research to answer an email question: 
<http://www.apparelsearch.com/>  You can search 
for anything having to do with textiles, including 
specific items made from textiles (my search was 
for 'toque') and come up with lots of interesting 
information.  It has a nice group of pages on 
aspects of wool and other fibers, for example, 
which summarize how the fibers are harvested or 
made, and processed into textiles.  Loads fast, 
too, since it's not fancy and photo-heavy.
