It occurs to me, while downloading 234 source packages, that it would be downright handy to ask fink to automatically try package-defined mirrors upon a 404 and then descend through other mirrors, etc. I figure as long as it winds up with an automatic 'give-up' or a required user operation, at least it would have more success than just trying the single default mirror selection.

This may not be a high priority because the problem of not finding so many packages on the mirrors only occurs right after a massive upgrade, but I was hoping that maybe it wouldn't be too difficult.

Thought I'd mention it while I'm sitting here selecting the default choice by simply hitting enter over and over.... :-)
