Why did you choose 3089361.stg? Guessing?  :->
In scripts/perl/scenery/ there's a script calc-tile:

  $ calc-tile 8.48 53.57
  Longitude: 8.48
  Latitude:  53.57
  Tile:      3089377
  Path:      "e000n50/e008n53/3089377.stg"

  $ calc-tile 8.485 53.575
  Longitude: 8.485
  Latitude:  53.575
  Tile:      3089377
  Path:      "e000n50/e008n53/3089377.stg"

Both entries shoud be in file e000n50/e008n53/3089377.stg.
Using calctile.nas would even have created the whole OBJECT
line with just a keypress ...
