The idea was to hard-code the weights once we are happy with the results, which is why I didn't consider this possibility at all. But then again, we have so many configuration options that four more won't hurt either, especially since they are very rarely read and thus have not the least effect on the frame rate. And in this new scenario your propsal makes sense.
