I have the following set up :- (Windows, current git)
--fg-root=C:/FlightGear/data --fg-scenery=C:/FlightGear/Scenery;C:/FlightGear/terrasync --fg-aircraft=C:/FlightGear/Aircraft Fgrun however does not seem to see any aircraft that are only in the --fg-aircraft path.
