Yes, but strangely enough, this part of the discussion happened to be about LOD 
systems and performance rather than memory usage. And as far as the GPU 
performance footprint of trees or buildings seems to be concerned, if you don't 
see them on the screen, they don't take GPU performance.

Please don't take bits of what I say out of their context.
