Hello all,

I hope this new list flourishes. I feel folding kayaks have a real role
to fill in the current water sports world! They're just so expensive...
the cheapest ones I've seen start at $1000 US.

For those of you who haven't stumbled across it, Jim Heter has a website
with his folding kayak plans on it:

This one is a great resource for all things folding. My own pics of a

I haven't seen many clear pictures of home-built folding kayak frames.
Plans such as Percy Blandford's don't really show the 3-dimensional
details in a way I can grasp!! If any of you have built a folder, please
snail mail or email me photos and I'll make a web site for them. Or
perhaps Marian will make room on the pouchboats.com site. Although
sometimes I can't get to that URL. Has anyone else experienced this?
