It's possible to do it via shell's alias mechanism (I use zsh), but, as others replied, it's not convenient for non-Unix users and aliases are somehow part of today's modern DVCS-es. However, ability to select single branches for push/pull and rollback are standing much higher on my desired list for Fossil.
