Aha. This brand new pristine repo showed me that the repo I'm using
must be quite tuned. The look is not at all the same as the look of my
real repo.
Specific example:

(log in as anonymous, Edit the ticket --> you loose the wiki
formatting of the so-called "Description")
I was not aware of this.
Try this on a fresh repo on your system. If it goes away but still
happens with your “real” repo, then you may have ticket system
customizations enabled that are causing this.
I have reproduced with a fresh repo on my system what you showed me
with your repo I have downloaded. There is no problem.
So there must be ticket customizations in play in my real repo. OK

If your wish is simply that subsequent comments should use the same
formatting style as the original report, that’s a different thing
entirely. That’s purely a usability tweak, and could probably be
done with ticket system customizations.
No, this is not my wish.
