Gentlemen:

I have seen this many times. I believe this happens when CP's are
too loaded. Usually happens on older equipment (ie/ CP10's) but I have seen
it on newer processors that are over worked. (ie/ you are seeing OM & BPC
overruns).

Here are two things to try:

1) Upload 1 compound at a time (either from within ICC or by creating
an ICC driver-task script).
2) Wait for the process to be shutdown (CP's are less worked and
network traffic is lower) Not only will you get your upload but this
actually has an added bonus as the operator settable parameters are in a
state where the plant has been "shut-down properly". Thus if you ever have
to do a loadall to the CP the settable parameters are in a quiescent state
and you don't have valves/dampers/etc jumping to some "normal operating
position"

Peace

Peter

We have had this same problem for over 2 years now. Various field
service
people and TAC have looked at it and been unable to determine the
root of
the problem. We have upgraded our RAM, upgraded our hard drives all
to no
avail. So far Foxboro has been little to no help in resolving the
problem.
        It has been extremely frustrating.
