Is anybody here happy with using their iBooks or small screen PowerBooks as desktop machines? Do you hook up an extra keyboard and mouse? Happy with the small screen? Or do you hook up a larger monitor? Elevate the laptop on a stand?

        Yes to all.

I used a 15-inch Al PB as a desktop machine and was happy with the result. I put the book on the far side of the desk on a stand higher than the desktop so that it was at eye level. I used Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. It worked very well.

Sometimes the small screen would create limitations, especially when trying to use more than one program at a time. Otherwise it worked great.
