These are only screen shots. The from/to can be selected from drop downs or typed explicitely in the text boxes. I cheat and pass the text all the way to RRDTool, which saves me parsing it, but you are stuck with RRDTool's idea of date syntax. The problem is that this change is buried in other changes done in a hacker way rather than doing it properly. I have work to do to make this change nice and clean and divorced from my other mods. Matt, Martin, Alex, Bernard, Ben - I wanted to mail to you guys anyway to help me judge the level of interest there may be in some of these mods. The changes have been useful to us internally here, but our HPC environment is not really like most of the HPC clusters in academia and elsewhere, which means I am unsure of the likely level of interest. Also a change like the from/to mod may be too much of a change for people.
