I am thinking that we just go ahead and push out a beta. I am hoping that the feedback from the beta might help to get those other platforms stabilized. I know we have people out there that are interested. I would just like to see us push this release along a little faster. By starting a release cycle, hopefully more people will step up and start testing as well as produce code that will stabilize these other platforms. My point of view is that if nobody steps up to help stabilize a particular platforms, then there must not be a need to go to the extra work to support it. Until there is a need, we just do what we can. There is nothing that says that 3.1.1 has to support every platform from day one. There is also nothing that says that we can't push out 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 a few weeks later as these other platforms stabilize. Nothing gets people moving faster than the smell of new software. ;) Brad ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
