Got it in one! I hadn't realized that host-sflow didn't need ganglia on the 
windows host. I'll have a go at building a recent ganglia for FreeBSD instead.

Hi Steve:

I think you are misunderstanding our recommendations.  Both Adam and I 
recommend that you install host-sflow (which is a different project) under 
Windows but aggregate the data using Ganglia.  You will however need to upgrade 
Ganglia on your FreeBSD and/or install the latest version on a Linux box to do 
the aggregation.
