Hello again,

I just fixed my Gnome session login problem. The reason why this took
so long is that i've been searching for permissions set too strict or even
corrupted config files..

For those of you who might want to know:

XF86Config:

In the display resolution settings (that caused the problems):

"1280x1024" "1600x1200" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

I've just removed the "1600x1200" entry, and now i can login with both
root and my personal user account again !! Both didn't work without
removing that 1600x1200 entry from the list. Maybe X awaits the
resolutions in forward- or reverse- sorted order ?

This also fixed the problem that my login screen was bigger than the
initial display resolution (all buttons hidden)..
