Hello,

Ive been using Linux (Debian) for a while but am new to Gentoo. I compiled the kernel AOK first time, got X server running, tried to get nvidia driver up & found that I need the MTRR option.

Selected it, re-compiles the kernel but every time I ...

make dep && make clean bzImage modules modules_install

I get the following .........

Ive never had problems compiling a kernel before & am a bit stumped ?

Dave
