There are a number of guides describing the patching and related problems ... note that the above is 2007 ... and it still doesnt work. Basicly the question is does genkernel support some of the more complex setups, but as having suspend/resume on a laptop is almost mandatory its something genkernel should support out of the box. For my uses, if it has to be patched to add such basic support ... its broke. BillK
