Using ifplugd to manage your connection can conflict with the openrc stuff. If you install ifplugd but do not configure it to run, openrc will use it itself, avoiding any such conflicts. -- Neil Bothwick PCMCIA: People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms
